Eating healthily doesn't have to mean eliminating sweet treats from your diet. Here's a really simple recipe for a delicious all-natural dessert made from 100% wholesome foods that contains no sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan nuts
  • 1 cup dates
  • shredded (desiccated) coconut

Preparation

  • Combine the dates and pecans together in a food processor into a paste. If the dates are very dry then soak them in a little boiled water to soften them. Add this liquid to the mixture.

  • Make small balls of the paste and roll them in shredded coconut. Enjoy!

  • As a variation, substitute the pecans for other nuts such as almonds and walnuts.
